Our People

Grampians Health is led by Chief Executive Officer Dale Fraser. The Executive team reports to the CEO.

The Grampians Health board consists of previous members of the previously existing boards of Edenhope and District Memorial Hospital, Stawell Regional Health, Wimmera Health Care Group and Ballarat Health Services. This ensures local representation from across our communities and sites.

Celebrating our community

Grampians Health strives to provide care and compassion to all members of our community. We all have a part to play in combatting discrimination, and at Grampians Health we’re continuing to activate, educate and improve. This is something that is important to us every day – and especially on IDAHOBIT (International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination), May 17, as we join in acknowledging people who identify as LGBTQIA+ and show our continued support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

In celebrating our community Grampians Health is sharing the stories of some of our staff – including why IDAHOBIT is important and what they would like people to know about the LGBTQIA+ community.

Celebrating our volunteers

Volunteers are an important part of the fabric that is our health service. This National Volunteer Week, running 16-22 May, we recognise and celebrate our volunteers across the Grampians region. Thank you for your support, for the time you give and your dedication to our communities.

Grampians Health has over 200 volunteers, each and every one of them a valued member of our team. Read profiles of four of our volunteers:

Celebrating our diversity

Grampians Health proudly recognises and celebrates the cultural diversity of our staff, clients and patients, and our community, every day of the year.

Research indicates that organisations perform well when employees feel included and their workplace is strongly committed to supporting diversity.

With around 45 per cent of Australians born overseas or with at least one parent who was, Harmony Week has always been a way for workplaces to showcase and acknowledge their cultural diversity. Harmony Week celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

Grampians Health is no different, with current employees as diverse as the services we offer across the region.
